¡ñBeichen Science and Technology Area of Tianjin established in July 1992 and it is divided into south area and the north area, covering 170,000 square kilometers, enjoying the preferential policies provided the State Council for the State Hi-Tech Area. Preferential policies
Beichen Science and Technology Area of Tianjin is one 53 hi-tech area granted by the state and enjoys long-term, stable preferential policies approved by the State Council. Details are as follows:
1, Hi- tech enterprises inside the area shall be imposed enterprise income tax by a rate of 15%.
2, Newly-founded Chinese hi-tech enterprises shall be exempted from taxation in the first two years and pay tax by a rate of 15% in the follow-up three years.
3, Foreign enterprises that are classified as the hi-tech company and operate over ten years shall be exempted from income tax in the first two years, the follow-up three years be allowed a 50% reduction of income tax; The advanced technological enterprise shall be given another three-year of 10% of reduction.
4. Foreign investment enterprises including Chinese-foreign equity joint ventures, Chinese-foreign cooperative joint ventures and wholly foreign-owned enterprises, which export more than 70% of its output shall pay income tax by a rate of 10%.
5. Enterprises that get profit from technology-transfer or offering technology consultation, services, and training in the course of technology-transfer shall be exempted from income tax in the part of its annual net income that is under 500 thousand RMB.
6, According to the state policies of industry, enterprises that set up buildings used for technological development and production and management through raising money by itself shall be exempted from direction regulation tax on fixed estate.
t7, Enterprises can dispense with import license if the import materials and component parts are used to produce export product, the customs will check and accept the commodities depending on the export contracts and papers approved by the management committee.
8. Granted by the customs, enterprises can establish bonded warehouse in the area.
9. If the enterprise exports products producing by itself excluding the products that are limited by the state or have other provisions, it is exempted from export tariff. If the enterprise purchases goods outside the Area or exports goods outside the Area as an agent and does not process substantially or the increment is below 20%, it has to pay export tax in accordance with the regulations.
10. If the foreign investor reinvests with its profits obtaining from enterprise in the set-up of export-oriented enterprise or hi-tech enterprise in China and operate not less than 5 years, was approved by application tax office, we shall send back all income tax on the reinvestment on the condition that our application is approved by the tax department.
