Police in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province, arrested a dog owner on Tuesday for deliberately attacking a co-worker who attacked the dogs when they barked at him.
The victim, surnamed Xu, returned to work at the factory after drinking a bit of wine with his friends. Two dogs raised by one of his co-workers, surnamed Li, rushed toward him, barking fiercely for no apparent reason.
Xu beat the dogs, and after hearing the commotion, Li joined the fight by poking a sharp-headed wooden stick into Xu's belly.
